Stack it tall, serve it before it melts

Break the ground with a hoe, drop in a handful of seeds, water them and come back when they are ripe. Sell what you grow at the market stall, fill the orders on the village board and spend the takings on more fields, more animals and a farm that looks the way you want it.
Did you like Harvest Hollow?
Harvest Hollow is a small farm seen from above with a gentle tilt, the way a picture book would draw it. Chunky beds of turned soil sit in rounded fields, a red barn and a farmhouse with a smoking chimney stand along the dirt lane, a windmill turns on the hill and ducks paddle circles on the pond. Ten crops grow through four hand-drawn stages — a sprout, a leafy clump, buds, then the ripe thing with a twinkle on it — and each one only takes in the seasons that suit it, so a carrot patch in spring becomes a pumpkin patch by autumn.
The farm keeps its own time. A day lasts about two minutes and a season lasts a week of those days, and as the year turns the whole hollow is repainted: blossom in the trees in spring, deep green in summer, orange leaves in autumn and snow over everything in winter. Rain sweeps through and waters every bed for you, leaving puddles in the lane. Crops only grow while the ground is damp, so a watering can and a well-placed sprinkler are the difference between a full barn and a row of thirsty fields. Crows come for anything ripe that no scarecrow is watching.
Pick a tool from the shelf along the bottom and tap a field to use it, or drag to work a whole row in one sweep. Pinch to zoom, drag the grass to pan, and use the number keys and arrows if you are at a desk. Chickens lay eggs and cows give milk as long as they are fed, and both of them like being petted. Market prices drift a little from day to day, village orders pay well above them, and everything is saved in your browser — go away for a while and the hollow carries on growing without you, then tells you what happened when you get back.
In Harvest Hollow, crops only grow while the ground is damp, so watering is the job that matters most. Rain waters every bed for you, but on dry days a watering can or a well-placed sprinkler decides whether a field grows at all. Each of the ten crops only takes in the seasons that suit it, so check what to plant as the year turns instead of sowing the same thing all year round.
Put up a scarecrow before your crops ripen, because crows come for anything ripe that no scarecrow is watching. Keep the chickens and cows fed so they keep giving eggs and milk. When you have a harvest to sell, look at the village board before the market stall: orders pay well above market prices, which also drift a little from day to day. Dragging across a row works the whole line in one sweep, which saves a lot of tapping once the farm grows. A day lasts about two minutes, so there is time to plan, and spending your takings on more fields lets the farm spread outwards from there.
Yes. Harvest Hollow is free to play in your browser on Kiloo. There is nothing to download and no account to create. Everything is saved in your browser, and the hollow carries on growing while you are away.
Yes. On a phone you pick a tool from the shelf and tap a square to use it, drag to work a whole row, drag the grass to pan and pinch to zoom. At a desk, 1 to 6 picks a tool and the arrows and plus and minus keys move and zoom.

Yes. Your farm is saved in your browser, and if you go away for a while the hollow carries on growing without you. When you get back, the game tells you what happened while you were gone.

Stack it tall, serve it before it melts

Stretch, top, bake, slice

Bake, stack, frost, pipe

Plant the flowers, keep the bees, jar the honey

Sizzle, stack, serve the street

Ladle, boil, top and serve before the queue gives up

Flip it at the golden band

Stack it right, serve it hot

Roll, plate and keep the belt moving
