A quick game is one you can start without reading a manual and stop without losing anything. The rules fit in one line, a round is over in a minute or two, and a new run starts with one key or one tap. Many of them use a single control, such as tap to fly, tap to drop or hold and release, so your hands know what to do before the first round is over.
That makes them good for the short gaps in a day: a break at work, a bus ride, five minutes before dinner. The page spans most of Kiloo, from arcade classics and one-button casual games to sports shootouts, short races, physics puzzles, rhythm games and fast 3D runs. Most of them keep your best score in the browser, so a quick round still has a target to beat.
The one-button games are the fastest way in. In Tap Flight you tap to lift a glowing disc through the gaps between neon pillars. Stack Tower has you drop each floor from a swinging crane, and anything hanging over the edge falls off. Pancake Flip asks you to flip at the golden band and stack pancakes on a wobbly plate. Road Hopper is one tap for one hop across roads, railways and rivers.
For a sporty break, Rooftop Hoops gives you a sixty-second shootout where you let go of the power meter in the pink for a clean swish. Free Kick Frenzy is a swipe to bend the ball round the wall, and Paper Toss has you flick a paper ball into a bin while a desk fan blows it sideways. Fruit Slice offers a calm 90-second Zen round and a loud 60-second Arcade round.
If you want speed, Drift King runs three laps on night streets or a ninety-second drift attack, and Downhill Dash sends you through slalom gates on skis. Snake speeds up as you grow, Lava Leap is an endless run over a volcano, and Snow Rider is an endless 3D sled run where you collect gifts to spend in the sled shop. Seasonal quick games, such as Bat Swoop or Sleigh Run, appear here during their season.
Most quick games use one or two keys. On a computer, Space does the main action in Tap Flight, Stack Tower and Pancake Flip, and the arrow keys or WASD steer in Snake, Drift King and Snow Rider. Rooftop Hoops has you hold Space or the mouse button to charge and let go to shoot. In nearly every game P pauses, M mutes the sound, and Space or R starts again.
On a phone or tablet the same games switch to touch: tap anywhere to fly, drop or flip, swipe to steer in Snake, swipe from the ball in Free Kick Frenzy, and hold the left or right half of the screen to steer in Snow Rider. Because a round is so short, these games suit a phone held in one hand. If the browser bar gets in the way, switch to full screen.
Yes. Every quick game on Kiloo is free to play in your browser. There is nothing to download or install and no account needed, so a round can start the moment the page loads. Your best scores are kept in the browser you play in.
Yes, they all work on phones and tablets with touch controls. Warbands, an online multiplayer shooter, is played with the screen held sideways and its on-screen buttons.
Tap Flight is the simplest: one tap lifts the disc, and a round can be over in seconds. Stack Tower and Pancake Flip are just as easy to learn. If you want a little more to do, try Road Hopper or the sixty-second shootout in Rooftop Hoops.
Usually a minute or two. Some rounds have a fixed clock, such as the sixty-second shootout in Rooftop Hoops or the 90-second Zen round in Fruit Slice. Endless games such as Tap Flight, Snake and Snow Rider last as long as you avoid a mistake, and they get harder as you go.
Yes. In most quick games P pauses and M mutes the sound, so you can stop in the middle of a round. Your best score is saved in your browser, so you can close the page and come back later to try to beat it.
