A relaxing game lets you set the pace. There is no clock pushing you, or there is a mode that switches it off, and nothing ends the session before you are ready to stop. You tap, pour, colour or tidy, something small changes on the screen, and that is enough. Many of these games keep what you made in your browser, so you can leave and pick it up again later.
The page reaches across most of Kiloo. You will find colouring and drawing tools, idle worlds that keep growing while you look away, gentle pet care, mahjong and jigsaws, building toys, simulations and makeovers, plus a few calm games that appear in the Christmas, Halloween and Easter categories for the season. What they share is a slower rhythm and very little pressure.
If you want to make something, start with Colour Book: pick a page and a pot, tap a shape and the colour pours in and stops at the line. Kaleido Draw copies every stroke around the middle of the plate, so a scribble comes out as a mandala, and there is no score and nothing to finish. Sand Art is a jar of falling grains where sand piles up, water finds its level and lava sets into stone when it meets the sea.
For something that grows on its own, Koi Pond has you tap the water to feed the koi, and its Pond mode is endless with no game over. Ocean Aquarium turns feeding into pearls you spend on new species, coral and a bigger tank. Cloud Farm grows cloudberries on a floating island while you wait, and you sell sky-sheep wool to a passing airship. Bird Feeder is a garden window where you keep the seeds and the bath topped up and twenty garden birds come to visit.
If you prefer a quiet puzzle, Mahjong Garden has a Relaxed mode with no clock, and every deal can be cleared. Jigsaw Garden lets you choose a painting and anything from 12 to 150 pieces, and saves as you go. Gem Swap has a Zen mode that removes the clock altogether. Garden Designer lets you plan lawns, paths and flower beds, then press play and watch the year turn from blossom to snow.
Every relaxing game on this page also works on phones and tablets. Most of them are played with one hand: on a computer you click, and on a touch screen you tap or drag. In Colour Book you click or tap a shape, in Sand Art you drag across the glass to pour, and in Garden Designer and Cloud Farm you can pinch to zoom on a phone. Keyboard shortcuts are there if you want them, such as Z to undo in the drawing tools, Z to switch on Zen mode in Gem Swap, P to pause and M to mute.
A few tips follow from how these games work. The idle games, such as Cloud Farm and Ocean Aquarium, keep earning for up to eight hours while you are away, so there is no need to leave them open. Drawing tools such as Colour Book and Kaleido Draw save your work in the browser and can export a PNG to keep. If you are playing before bed, M turns the sound off in most of them.
Yes. Every relaxing game on Kiloo is free to play in your browser. There is nothing to download or install and no account needed. Your pages, gardens, ponds and best scores are kept in the browser you play in, so use the same browser on the same device to carry on.
Yes, every game on this page works on phones and tablets as well as on computers. The controls switch to touch: you tap a shape to colour it in Colour Book, drag across the jar in Sand Art, tap the water to feed the koi in Koi Pond and pinch to zoom in Garden Designer.
Colour Book is the simplest: pick a page, tap a shape and the colour fills it. If you would rather watch something grow, try Koi Pond, whose Pond mode has no game over. For a calm puzzle, Mahjong Garden has a Relaxed mode with no clock, and Jigsaw Garden lets you choose how many pieces you want.
Yes. Kaleido Draw and Sand Art have nothing to win or lose, and Pond mode in Koi Pond is endless. Gem Swap has a Zen mode with no clock, and Mahjong Garden has a Relaxed mode without one. Idle games such as Cloud Farm keep growing while you are away, for up to eight hours.
Many of them do, in the browser you play in. Colour Book keeps every page you start, Kaleido Draw keeps a shelf of six pieces, Garden Designer keeps six gardens and Jigsaw Garden saves a puzzle to continue later. Several drawing tools can also save a PNG picture to your device.
