Check them in, tuck them in, wave goodbye

A garden window with a bird table, feeders and a bird bath. Keep the seeds topped up and the water fresh, and twenty garden birds come to visit, plus one exotic surprise. The regulars become friends you name.
Did you like Bird Feeder?
Bird Feeder is a calm garden you look after through your window. There is a bird table with a dish of mealworms, a feeder pole with seeds, peanuts, suet and nectar, an apple stump, a bird bath, a nest box on the old tree, a hedge with fairy lights, a swing perch, a mirror and a wind chime. Drag the scoop to fill a feeder, pour the jug into the bath, scrub a feeder with the brush, tuck moss into the nest box, push the swing and ring the chime. Six soft rings on the window sill show what the garden needs: food, water, clean, shelter, fun and cosy. They drift slowly, and the worst it ever gets is an empty feeder with a hopeful robin waiting beside it, who cheers up the moment you fill it.
Cared for, the garden gets busy. Robins, blue tits, great tits, blackbirds, sparrows, goldfinches, chaffinches, wrens, nuthatches, a woodpecker, a magpie, a jay, a wood pigeon, starlings, dunnocks, bullfinches, long-tailed tits, greenfinches, siskins and a mallard at the bath each have a favourite food and a time of day, and they flutter in, hop, peck, bathe, squabble gently and fly off again. An in-game clock runs through dawn, day, dusk and starry nights, and the seasons turn: snow brings the bullfinch and a hunger for suet, summer brings fledglings begging to be fed. Every visitor fills in a sticker in the field guide, and when one becomes a regular you give it a name from letter tiles and it gets a friend star.
Care earns hearts, and hearts unlock new feeders, bath designs, nest boxes, flowers and window decorations: every reward is earned in the garden. Come back daily for a sticker, and after a while away all your friends arrive at once to say hello. Three quick mini-games add a little brain work with no way to lose, each keeping your high score: spot the bird among the branches, match a two-note song, and tap the bath splashes before they dry. The garden itself is endless and made to relax, with gentle chirps and a music box you can mute, and it is saved in your browser.
Keep an eye on the six rings on the window sill. They drift slowly, so a quick round of topping up the seeds, refreshing the bath and scrubbing a feeder every so often is enough to keep the garden busy. Food matters most for visitors: each bird has a favourite food, so a garden with seeds, peanuts, suet, nectar and mealworms all filled draws a wider mix than one full feeder.
Each bird also has its own time of day, so visit at dawn, during the day and at dusk to fill more of the field guide. The seasons change who turns up, too: in snow, keep the suet full for the bullfinch, and in summer expect fledglings that want feeding. Spend the hearts you earn on new feeders and nest boxes to give the garden more to offer, and come back daily for a sticker.
Yes. Bird Feeder is free to play in your browser on Kiloo, with nothing to download and no account needed. Your garden, your field guide and your named bird friends are saved in the browser you play in, so you can pick up where you left off.
Yes. On a phone or tablet you drag or tap a tool on the sill and then tap where it should go. On a computer you drag with the mouse, or use Tab, the arrow keys and Enter or Space. P pauses and M mutes.
Every new visitor fills in a sticker in the field guide. Once a bird keeps coming back and becomes a regular, you give it a name using letter tiles, and it gets a friend star. Keeping its favourite food filled at its time of day helps it return.
