A high score game gives you one clear number at the end of every go. It might be points, a distance, a time or the biggest tile on the board, and the game remembers your record so there is always something to aim at. The rules are simple enough to learn in a minute, and the gap between a first try and a strong one comes from practice, not from unlocking anything.
This page spans most of Kiloo. You will find arcade classics, falling-block and number puzzles, card games with a best time, sports with personal bests, racers with a clock, rhythm games, shooters and roguelites, and a set of seasonal games that appear in the Christmas, Halloween and Easter categories for the season. Some race for points, others for the fastest clean finish, and many keep a separate record per board size or difficulty.
For a quick start, Snake has you steer, eat the dots and grab gold stars that only last a few seconds, while the speed rises as you grow. Tap Flight is one tap to lift a glowing disc through the gaps between pillars, and the gaps tighten every ten points. Block Drop asks you to pack falling shapes into a ten-wide well and clear four rows at once for the most points.
If you prefer thinking to reflexes, 2048 keeps a best score and your biggest tile for each board size, from 4x4 up to 6x6. Minesweeper and Sudoku count your best time for each difficulty, and FreeCell times every deal and lets you replay one by its number. Letter Scramble gives you two minutes to find every word in seven letters, with a big bonus for the word that uses all of them.
For something with more movement, Pinball Planet has missions, multiball and a local high score table you sign with the flippers. Bullseye Darts includes a thirty-dart high score game on a real board. Hurdle Hero saves personal bests across four track events, and Smash Champs - Sliced has you swipe through balls and leave the bombs alone across seven arenas, with three lives and your best score saved on the device.
Every game on this page works on phones and tablets as well as on computers. On a keyboard the arrow keys or WASD steer in most of them, and Space flies, drops or restarts. On a touch screen you swipe to steer in Snake, swipe and tap to move and rotate in Block Drop, tap anywhere in Tap Flight, and hold, drag and lift to throw in Bullseye Darts. Pinball Planet flips with Shift or Z and the / key, or a tap on each side of the screen.
A few habits help. Play one game for a while before switching, because the record only moves once the controls feel natural. In Snake and Tap Flight, take the gold stars only when the path is clear. In Block Drop, keep a column open for the four-row clears. P pauses most games and M mutes them, and your records are kept in the browser you play in, so use the same one each time.
Yes. Every high score game on Kiloo is free to play in your browser. There is nothing to download or install and no account needed. Your best scores and best times are kept in the browser you play in, so the number to beat is waiting when you come back on the same device.
Yes, every game on this page works on phones and tablets as well as on computers. The controls switch to touch: you swipe to steer in Snake, tap anywhere to fly in Tap Flight, swipe and tap in Block Drop and swipe through the balls in Smash Champs - Sliced.
Snake and Tap Flight are the quickest to learn, since each needs only one simple control and a round is short. If you would rather think than react, try 2048 or Minesweeper. For a longer session with more going on, Pinball Planet has missions and multiball on top of its high score table.
In the browser you play in, on that device. Some games keep several records, such as 2048 for each board size, Minesweeper and Sudoku for each difficulty and FreeCell for your best time. If you clear your browser data or play on another device, the records start again from zero.
Yes, on the same device. Pinball Planet has a Two Player mode, and Bullseye Darts lets two players share one board. You can also simply take turns on any game and compare scores, since the record kept in the browser is the one you both have to beat.
