Trick or Treat
Hop the street, ring the bells, fill the pail

A pattern card shows the face and the pumpkin shows the dotted lines: drag along them and every eye, nose and toothy grin pops out. Carve the whole face and the candle inside lights up.
Did you like Pumpkin Carver?
Pumpkin Carver is a cosy Halloween carving puzzle. Every pumpkin comes with a pattern card and a face stencilled onto its skin in dotted lines. Drag along a line with your mouse or finger and the carving tool follows; close the outline and the piece pops out and tumbles onto the grass. The closer you stay to the line, the higher your match score, and a quick run of neat cuts builds a streak. Carve the last piece and the candle inside lights up, a friendly ghost floats out to say boo, and your candy is counted.
There are 40 patterns and the detail rises slowly: the first ones are two triangle eyes and a grin, later ones add eyebrows, fangs, whiskers, freckles, little bats and stars. Every pattern has a par time and up to three stars for accuracy and speed, and your best score for each one stays on your device. Rush is the quick, endless mode: pumpkin after pumpkin against a clock that every finished face tops up, so each run is a chase for a new high score.
When you just want to relax, Free Carve hands you a blank pumpkin and no rules. Draw any closed loop and it drops out, then light the lantern and see your own face glow in the dark. Every cut, pop and glow shows on screen, so it plays just as well with the sound off, on a phone held upright or on a big screen with a mouse.
Accuracy is what Pumpkin Carver rewards most. Your match score depends on how closely you follow the dotted line, so a slow, steady drag usually beats a fast one that wanders. Neat cuts in quick succession build a streak, which means it pays to finish one piece cleanly and move straight on to the next rather than pausing between them. Remember that a piece only drops out once its outline is closed, so carry each line all the way back to where it started.
Work through the patterns in order. The early faces are just eyes and a grin, which makes them a good place to get a feel for the tool before eyebrows, fangs and whiskers arrive. Each pattern has a par time, so once you can carve a face accurately, replay it to chase the speed star too. Rush suits you once your cuts are reliable, since every finished face adds time to the clock. If you simply want to unwind, Free Carve has no rules at all.
Yes. Pumpkin Carver is free to play in your browser on Kiloo, with nothing to download and no account to create. Your best score for each of the 40 patterns stays on your device, so you can come back and improve it.
Yes. On a phone or tablet you carve by dragging a finger along the dotted lines, and on a computer you drag the mouse. Every cut and glow shows on screen, so it works held upright and with the sound off. P pauses and M mutes.
Every pattern has a par time and up to three stars, awarded for accuracy and speed. Stay as close to the dotted lines as you can to raise your match score, and finish the face within the par time to collect the full set.
Rush is an endless line of pumpkins against a clock, and each finished face tops the clock up, so you are chasing a high score. Free Carve gives you a blank pumpkin and no rules: draw any closed loop to cut it out, then light the lantern.
