Hear a loop, rebuild it, make your own

A cartoon band plays a one-bar beat and the pads light up in time, then it is your turn to play it back on kick, snare, hi-hat and tom while the groove rolls on. Quick songs with three stars each, a free Jam mode and an endless Drum Line that keeps speeding up.
Did you like Drum Kit?
Drum Kit is a call and response rhythm game on a warm little club stage. A cat drummer and her band, a bear on bass, an owl on keys and a bunny on guitar, play a one-bar beat, and the pads at the bottom of the screen light up in time with every hit. Then it is your turn: the band keeps the groove going while you play the same beat back on kick, snare, hi-hat and tom. A hit on time scores and builds your combo, a late or missed one only costs the combo, and the song always plays on to the end.
Twenty-four quick grooves cover rock, hip hop, funk and latin, each one under a minute. Patterns start with two hits and grow into full bars with off-beats, syncopation and short rolls, and a crash and a cowbell join the kit along the way. Every groove has a par score, keeps your best score on this device and hands out up to three stars. Drum Line is the endless mode: the style changes every few phrases, the tempo keeps climbing and the crowd's energy decides how long the set lasts, with your high score saved for next time. Jam is the free mode, with a click track, a one-bar loop recorder and a groove meter that shows how tight your timing is, for when you just want to relax and play some music.
The drums and the band are synthesised in your browser as you play. Every note also has a visual cue: icons scroll along the groove strip toward the beat line and a ring closes on each pad right on the beat, so the game is fully playable with the sound off. A short tap-along calibration screen measures the delay of your speakers or headphones and remembers it. Play with D, F, J and K or the number keys on a keyboard, or tap the pads on a phone or tablet. P pauses and M mutes.
Before your first song, do the short tap-along calibration. It measures the delay of your speakers or headphones and remembers it, so hits you play on the beat are counted on the beat. Then, during each call, watch the pads light up and say the pattern to yourself: which pad, and when. Use the visual cues as well as your ears, since icons scroll toward the beat line and a ring closes on each pad right on the beat.
A late or missed hit only costs your combo, and the song always plays on to the end, so keep going rather than stopping to fix a mistake. Start with the early grooves, where patterns have just two hits, and work up to off-beats, syncopation and rolls. On a keyboard, rest your fingers on D, F, J and K. Jam mode, with its click track and groove meter, is a good place to tighten your timing before chasing three stars or the climbing tempo of Drum Line.
Yes. Drum Kit is free to play in your browser on Kiloo, with nothing to download and no account needed. Your best score on each groove, your Drum Line high score and your calibration are saved on the device you play on.
Yes. On a phone or tablet you tap the pads at the bottom of the screen. On a computer you play kick, snare, hi-hat and tom with D, F, J and K or 1 to 4, and S and L add crash and cowbell. P pauses and M mutes.

Tap, strum and drum in time with the beat.

Hear a loop, rebuild it, make your own

Jump and slide on the beat

Hit the arrows, own the floor

Play back the bird's tune on a rainbow xylophone

One-button rhythm platformer

Catch the falling notes, sing the song

Hold the chord, strum on the beat

Tap the falling piano keys in time

Tap the lanes, ride the beat

Aim, fire, pop the tub clean

Feed the koi, grow the pond

Ride the wind, dig the X, wake the Kraken

Bubble-blast through five seas

Stack it, balance it, hold it for three

Trace the stencil, light the lantern

Hold to fly, swoop through the cave

Mix potions, stir in time, serve cute monsters

Spot the friendly ghosts hiding in the mansion

Collect candles, dodge friendly ghosts
