Tuck, carve, send it

A top-down drift racer on rain-slick night streets. Break traction with one button, hold the car sideways through a corner and chain slide after slide for a bigger multiplier, with three rivals and a ghost of your own best lap for company.
Did you like Drift King?
Drift King is a top-down night racer built around one feeling: the moment the back end steps out and the car keeps travelling one way while it points another. Tap the drift button and the rear tyres let go; steer into the slide and you carry the corner sideways in a long arc of smoke and glowing rubber. Let go and grip snaps back, the nose swings into line and you are straight again on the exit. The camera follows the direction you are actually travelling rather than the way the car is pointing, so a good drift reads instantly: the street stays put and the car swings across the frame.
Three circuits, each with its own weather of light. Harbour Loop is wide and fast, a container yard ringing a black basin, taken in long committed sweepers under orange dock lamps. Neon Downtown is a grid of tight blocks where shop signs hang low over the pavement and paint their colours a full car-length across the tarmac. Mountain Pass climbs into switchbacks above the city with guard rails, chevron boards and almost no street lighting, so your own headlights do most of the work. Every track runs three laps against Kaori, Vex and Rook, who drive the same physics you do: Kaori is clean and quick and rarely gets it wrong, Vex brakes far too late and slides everything, and Rook is heavy through the corners but hard to pass on a straight.
Race mode scores position and lap times, and once you have set a good one a translucent ghost of your best lap runs the line beside you. Drift attack gives you ninety seconds and an empty circuit: bank a slide cleanly and the points are yours, scrape a barrier mid-chain and you lose everything you were holding. Cones scatter, walls throw sparks and slow you down, tyre marks glow and fade behind the pack, and rain falls across the whole thing. Arrow keys or WASD with space for the handbrake; on a phone there are left, right, gas and drift buttons, or just drag a thumb across the screen to steer. Best lap and best drift score are kept on your own device.
In Drift King the drift button only breaks traction; it is your steering that holds the slide. Start the drift as you turn in, steer into the slide to carry the car round the corner, then let go so grip returns and the nose lines up for the exit. The camera follows the way you are travelling, so watch the street rather than the car to judge your line.
Learn the tracks one at a time. Harbour Loop has wide, fast sweepers and is the kindest place to practise long slides, while Neon Downtown's tight blocks and Mountain Pass's dark switchbacks need shorter, earlier drifts. Walls throw sparks and slow you, so a tidy slide is quicker than a wild one. In races, watch your rivals: Vex brakes late and slides everything, and Rook is hard to pass on a straight, so pass him in the corners. In Drift attack, bank your points before you get greedy, because scraping a barrier mid-chain loses everything you were holding.
Yes. Drift King is free to play in your browser on Kiloo, with nothing to download and no account needed. Your best lap and best drift score are kept on your own device.
Yes. On a phone or tablet you get left, right, gas and drift buttons, or you can drag a thumb across the screen to steer. On a computer you use the arrow keys or WASD, with Space to break traction.
Drift attack gives you ninety seconds on an empty circuit to chain slides for a bigger multiplier. Points only count once you bank a slide cleanly, and scraping a barrier in the middle of a chain loses everything you were holding.
You race three laps against Kaori, Vex and Rook, who use the same physics as you. Kaori is clean and quick, Vex brakes too late and slides everything, and Rook is heavy in corners but hard to pass on a straight.
Drift, dash and race to the line.

Tuck, carve, send it

Items, drifts and eight karts

Full throttle through the harbour

Lean, throttle, land it

Zero gravity, full throttle

Listen to the notes, trust the slide

Crush the cars, nail the landing

Neon tunnels, no brakes

Three wheels, three laps, no manners

Steer, reverse and park in 40 car parks

Tap the cars out of a packed lot

Slide the cars, free the red one

Tap the lights, keep the town moving

Forty routes, every stop on time

Haul the crates over the hills

Pick them up, drop them off, beat the clock

Plough, sow and harvest every tile

Hook it, tow it, back it in

Race. Blast. Win.
