Shove pine crates across a warehouse floor and park every one on its chalk target. You can push but you can never pull, so the order you work in is the whole puzzle.
Did you like Crate Shove?
Crate Shove is a warehouse at the end of a long shift. Somebody has chalked targets on the concrete, the crates are standing in the wrong places, and it is your job to walk them home before the foreman comes back. You play a forklift driver in a hard hat and a hi-vis vest, and you move one square at a time. Step into a crate and you shove it one square ahead of you. That is the only thing you can do to a crate: you can never pull one back, and you can never shove two at once.
That single rule is what turns a tidy job into a proper brain teaser. Push a crate into a corner and it stays in that corner for good. Push one flat against the racking and it can only slide along the wall. Fill the nearest chalk square first and you will find you have walled yourself out of the one behind it. The fix is always the same: stop, look at the whole floor, and work out which crate has to move first. Undo is unlimited and restart is one key away, so you are free to try a line, see it fail three moves later, and wind the whole thing back without losing anything but a few seconds.
There are forty hand-made floors across five aisles, from a Loading Bay that teaches you the shove in two moves to a Night Shift that will have you staring at five crates for a while. Every one of them was checked by a solver before it shipped, so there is always a way through. Each floor carries a par on moves, and beating it earns a star on the level select. There is also a daily run — one floor picked from the set by the date, the same board for everybody, a nice five minute sit-down with a coffee. Arrows or WASD on a keyboard, a swipe or a tap on a phone, and a move counter and a push counter along the top so you can see exactly how tidy your solution was.
Before you take a step, look at the whole floor and ask which crate has to move first. Because you can only push, a crate in a corner is stuck for good, and a crate pushed flat against the racking can only slide along that wall. Treat corners and walls as traps unless a chalk target sits right there.
A common mistake is filling the nearest target first and then finding you have blocked the way to the one behind it. Work from the far targets inwards, and keep a path open so the driver can walk round to the other side of a crate. Undo is unlimited and R restarts the floor, so try an idea freely and wind it back the moment it goes wrong. Once a floor is solved, have another go at beating the par on moves to earn its star; the move and push counters show where you wasted steps. Start in the Loading Bay and work through the aisles in order.
Yes. Crate Shove is free to play in your browser on Kiloo. There is nothing to download and no account to create. Pick a floor from the level select, or try the daily run, and start shoving straight away.
Yes. On a phone or tablet you swipe to walk, or tap the tile next to the driver. On a computer you walk with the arrow keys or WASD, press Z or U to undo and R to restart the floor.
Yes. All forty floors across the five aisles were checked by a solver before they shipped, so there is always a way through. If you are stuck, undo a few moves or restart and look again at which crate needs to go first.
The daily run is one floor picked from the set by the date, so everybody is pushing the same crates on the same day. It is a short puzzle to sit down with, and the par and counters work just as on any other floor.
Think ahead, clear the board.

Stack, clear, don't top out

Match three, chain the cascades

Logic, nerves and one wrong click

Four difficulties, one right answer

Turn the pipes, open the valve

Bend the beam, crack the vault

Slide the cars, free the red one

Tap a group, watch the board crumble

Crack the code, type the word

Six tries, one word a day

Guess the word before the balloons pop

Sixty seconds, how many can you get?

Pair to thirteen, clear the pyramid
