Drag through neighbouring dots of the same colour to link them, then let go and they pop. Bring the link back round into a square and every dot of that colour on the board goes at once.
Did you like Dot Link?
Dot Link is a calm little brain teaser played on a six by six board of round, friendly dots. Drag through neighbouring dots of the same colour, up, down, left or right but never diagonally, and let go: the linked dots pop with a soft sound and new ones drop in from the top. Bring the link back round to a dot you have already used and you have closed a square. A bell rings, a ripple runs across the board, every dot of that colour disappears at once, and the dots that fall in to replace them leave that colour out.
Levels mode has sixty levels, each with a move limit and one to three goals: clear twenty blue dots, close a few squares, or free the anchors by clearing the dots underneath them until they drop off the bottom of the board. Every level is played through by a simulation before you see it, so the goals can always be reached inside the moves you are given, and finishing with moves to spare earns up to three stars. A fresh daily level arrives every day, the same board for everyone.
Timed mode is a quick sixty seconds in which every dot is a point and a square counts double, and your high score is saved in your browser. Endless has no limits at all, so you can relax and see how long the combo goes: every link of four or more dots keeps it going and multiplies the points. Play with a mouse, a finger or the arrow keys. If you stop for a while, a gentle pulse points out a good link.
The most useful move in Dot Link is the square. Bring a link back round to a dot you have already used and every dot of that colour on the board disappears at once, which is far more than a long line can clear. Before you drag, look for four dots of one colour that sit in a block, and remember that links only run up, down, left or right, never diagonally.
In Levels mode, read the goals and the move limit first. If a level asks for twenty blue dots, squares in blue do most of the work. For anchors, clear the dots underneath them so they sink to the bottom and drop off. Every level has been checked winnable inside its moves, so if you are falling short, aim for bigger links rather than quick ones. Moves to spare earn extra stars. In Timed mode a square counts double, so a quick square is often better than a careful line. In Endless, keep links at four dots or more to keep the combo going. If you stop for a while, a gentle pulse points out a good link.
Yes. Dot Link is free to play in your browser on Kiloo, with nothing to download and no account needed. Your high score in the sixty second Timed mode is saved in the browser you play in.
Yes. On a phone or tablet you drag a finger across matching dots and lift it to clear them. On a computer you drag with the mouse, or use the arrow keys and press Space to start and end a link.
When your link comes back round to a dot you have already used, you close a square. Every dot of that colour on the board disappears at once, and the new dots that fall in to replace them leave that colour out.
Levels mode has sixty levels with move limits and goals, plus a fresh daily level. Timed mode gives you sixty seconds in which every dot is a point and a square counts double. Endless has no limits, so you can relax and build long combos.
