Comet Catcher
Catch the comets, dodge the rocks

Hop a chunky little hen across an endless stack of roads, railways and rivers built out of painted wooden blocks. One tap is one hop, and the lane you are standing on is never safe for long.
Did you like Road Hopper?
Road Hopper is an endless crossing game in a toy world. Everything in it — the hen, the buses, the round-topped trees, the boulders on the verge — is built from soft-edged blocks and lit like a painted model village seen from just above. You hop one tile at a time: tap or press up to go forward, swipe or use the arrows to sidestep, and the world scrolls up towards you the whole way.
The lanes are generated as you go and they get meaner the further you get. Grass is safe but grows thick with trees. Roads carry cars, vans, buses and the occasional police car, each lane at its own speed and in its own direction, and the gaps between them close the longer you survive. A railway flashes its warning signal a second and a half before a train comes through at twenty tiles a second. Rivers have to be crossed on floating logs that carry you sideways, and on lily pads that sink under you after a moment, so a river is always a question of timing rather than nerve. The generator checks every lane it builds against the tiles you could actually be standing on, so there is always a way through — but not always a comfortable one.
Coins lie in little streams across the lanes and buy new characters: a pug, a frog, a robot, an astronaut, a dragon, a penguin and a cactus, each with its own hop and its own fidget. Sit still or go backwards for too long and an eagle takes an interest. Play Endless for a best distance, Daily Road for a date-seeded world and one run a day with a streak, Time Trial for sixty seconds of pure distance, or split the screen for a two-player race to lane fifty. The time of day rolls from morning to sunset to night every hundred lanes, headlights and all. Your best, your coins and your unlocked characters are saved in your browser. Press P to pause, M to mute, R to retry.
Road Hopper is about reading one lane at a time. Every road lane has its own speed and direction, so look at the next lane, wait for a gap and hop, rather than trying to plan the whole screen. Grass is safe, so use it to pause and look ahead. Railways flash a warning a second and a half before a train arrives, so when the signal lights, stay put and let it pass.
Rivers are about timing. Logs carry you sideways, so do not ride one for too long or you will drift away from the safe route. Lily pads sink after a moment, so step off them quickly. Do not wait too long or hop backwards too often, because an eagle takes an interest in a hen that stops making progress. Pick up coin streams when they are on your way to unlock new characters, but never take a risky hop just for a coin. The gaps close the further you go, so the early lanes are where to be quick.
Yes. Road Hopper is free to play in your browser on Kiloo, with nothing to download and no account to create. Your best distance, your coins and the characters you have unlocked are saved in the browser you play in.
Yes. On a phone or tablet you tap to hop forward and swipe to step aside. On a computer W, the up arrow or Space hops forward, and A and D or the arrow keys step to the side.
Collect the coins that lie in streams across the lanes and spend them on new characters: a pug, a frog, a robot, an astronaut, a dragon, a penguin and a cactus. Each one has its own hop and fidget.
Yes. The split-screen mode is a two-player race to lane fifty on the same device. There is also Endless, a Daily Road with one run a day and a streak, and a sixty-second Time Trial.
Quick rounds, high scores, one more go.

Catch the comets, dodge the rocks

One swipe, five fruits, no bombs

Hold to climb, let go to drop, and thread the gaps

Classic snake, Kiloo style

Blast the rocks, dodge the debris

Run, jump, slide, don't stop

Smash every brick

Hold the line, wave after wave

Eat the maze, outrun the drones

Flip, ramp, orbit, multiball

Drop, match, grow the melon

Step right up and pop a cork

Slide, curl and sweep to the button

Seven letters, one sweet centre

Look after the garden, make bird friends

Train all week, win the tournament

Feed the koi, grow the pond

Hop the pads, swing by your tongue

Low gravity, long jumps

Ten stages, big bosses, one plucky fighter
