Move a glowing glass orb along a free path and line up five of a colour to clear them. Every move without a clear lets three more orbs in, so the whole game is about keeping space on the board.
Did you like Orb Lines?
Orb Lines is the classic colour lines puzzle on a dark slate board with a soft glow in the grid. Nine by nine cells, seven colours of glass orb. Click an orb, then an empty cell, and the orb rolls there along the shortest free path, as long as one exists. Line up five or more of the same colour in a row, a column or a diagonal and the line bursts in a shower of sparks with a soft chime, and no new orbs arrive that turn. Every move that does not clear a line lets three more orbs in, so the board slowly fills, and the game ends when there is no space left.
You always know what is coming. The next three colours are shown beside the board, and small seeds glow in the cells where they will land, so you can block a bad drop or leave room for a good one. Longer lines are worth more, two lines at once doubles the score, and clearing on consecutive moves builds a combo. If a move goes wrong you can undo it, three times a game, and your high score is saved in your browser. It is a quick game to pick up and a proper brain workout to get good at.
There is a Daily board too, with the same opening and the same orbs in the same order for everyone, a fresh one every day with your best score for the date kept. And when you just want to relax, Zen mode plays on a smaller seven by seven board with five colours, two new orbs a turn, a slower pace and as many undos as you like, which makes it close to endless. Play with a mouse, a finger or the keyboard; switch on shapes if you would rather tell the colours apart by a mark as well.
Orb Lines is a game about space. Every move that does not clear a line lets three more orbs in, while a clear stops new orbs arriving that turn, so the aim is to clear often and keep the board open rather than to build one long line slowly.
Use what the game shows you. The next three colours appear beside the board and small seeds glow where they will land, so you can move an orb onto a seed to block a bad drop or leave a gap for a good one. An orb can only move along a free path, so avoid walling off corners of the board where orbs get trapped. Lines can run in rows, columns or diagonals, and longer lines and two lines at once score more, but survival comes first. Keep your three undos for real mistakes. If the colours are hard to tell apart, press S to add shapes. To learn the game at a gentler pace, start with Zen mode on the smaller board.
Yes. Orb Lines is free to play in your browser on Kiloo. There is nothing to download and no account to create. Your high score and your best Daily score for the date are saved in the browser you play in.
Yes. On a phone or tablet you tap an orb and then an empty cell, or drag the orb there. On a computer you click with the mouse, or use the arrow keys and Enter, and U undoes the last move.
Zen mode plays on a smaller seven by seven board with five colours and two new orbs a turn instead of three. It has a slower pace and as many undos as you like, which makes it close to endless and a relaxed way to play.
The game ends when there is no space left on the board. Each move that does not clear a line of five or more adds three orbs, so the board slowly fills unless you keep clearing lines.
Pair tiles, pop bubbles, clear the board.
