Raise a puppy of your very own

Feed, brush, play and cuddle up to three kittens

Listen, soothe and send every patient home happy

Care for a hamster, build its tube maze

Grow veg, hand-feed and cuddle your rabbits

Groom, feed and cuddle your own pony

Look after the garden, make bird friends

Check them in, tuck them in, wave goodbye

Look after a pond full of happy turtles

Care for your dog, then run the course together
In a pet care game you choose an animal, give it a name and look after it by hand. You fill the bowl, pour the water, brush the coat, throw a toy and tuck it in when it gets sleepy. Its needs drift down slowly, and each bit of care brings them back up, so the fun is in the small routine and in watching your animal react with a wagging tail, a purr or a happy spin.
The pet games on Kiloo share a few gentle habits. Most start with six looks to pick from and a name you spell with big letter tiles, so nobody has to type. Care is done by dragging and rubbing rather than pressing a button, the mini-games have no way to lose, and good care earns things like collars, bows, beds and a daily sticker. Your animals are saved in the browser you play in and are waiting when you come back.
If you want one animal to look after, start with Puppy Pal or Kitten Corner. In Puppy Pal you pick from six puppies and eight coat colours, then feed, bathe, brush, play fetch and tug, and teach tricks for the trophy shelf. Kitten Corner gives a kitten a sunny corner of the flat with a feather wand, a yarn ball and a brush, and good care brings two more kittens. Bunny Garden adds a vegetable patch where you sow and pull your own carrots, lettuce and dandelions for your rabbit, and Turtle Pond is the slowest and calmest of them all, with pellets, a net for the leaves and a parasol to move so the log gets the sun.
For something to do as well as look after, try Pony Stable, where you muck out, groom, plait and bathe a pony and enter a show at the end of every week for rosettes. Hamster Maze mixes care with thirty tube-maze puzzles in a workshop, and Dog Agility has you cue jumps, tunnels and weaves in rhythm across thirty courses in five parks.
Three games give you lots of animals at once. Vet Clinic puts you in a white coat, calling patients in from the waiting room and using ten tools, from a stethoscope to plasters and an x-ray. Pet Hotel has twelve guest rooms for dogs, cats, rabbits, a parrot, a tortoise and more, each with its own likes. Bird Feeder is a garden window where you keep the feeders and bath topped up and twenty garden birds come to visit.
Every pet game here works on desktop, tablet and phone, and the controls are almost the same in all of them. With a mouse you drag a tool from the tray, such as a bag of food, a jug or a brush, onto your animal, and you rub the animal to pet it. On a touch screen you do the same with a finger, and in some games you swipe between rooms or flick a ball. In Dog Agility you tap a pad, or press Space or the arrows, to cue each obstacle.
The games can also be played from the keyboard: Tab or the arrow keys move between targets, Enter or Space uses the tool, and the number keys pick which animal you are caring for. P pauses and M mutes. The care is relaxed rather than a race: Vet Clinic has no countdown, a missed cue in Dog Agility just means a trot around, and when you come back after a break your dog simply greets you with a happy spin.
Yes. Every pet and animal care game on Kiloo is free to play in your browser. There is nothing to download or install and no account to make. Your animals, their names and everything you have earned are kept in the browser you play in, on that device.
Yes, all ten pet games work on phones and tablets as well as on computers. Care is done with a finger: drag the food and tools onto your animal, rub it to pet it and tap where you want to go. They were built for touch, so a tablet is a comfortable way to play.
Puppy Pal is a good first choice, because it is one puppy, one cosy home and simple care with mini-games you cannot lose. If you prefer cats, Kitten Corner works the same way. If you would rather look after lots of animals, try Vet Clinic or Pet Hotel.
No. The needs drift down slowly, but nothing bad happens while you are away. In Puppy Pal your puppy says it missed you, in Dog Agility your dog greets you with a happy spin, and in Bird Feeder the worst that happens is an empty feeder with a robin waiting beside it.
They were made to be gentle. Names are spelled with letter tiles instead of typing, care is done by dragging and rubbing, and the mini-games have no way to lose. Vet Clinic has no fail state and no countdown, and every visit ends in sparkles and a sticker.
