Note Catcher
Catch the falling notes, sing the song

A glossy ball bounces along a level built from the song itself. Tap to hop the walls, hold to roll under the bars, and every landing plays the next note of the melody.
Did you like Beat Bounce?
Beat Bounce is a one-button rhythm platformer. A glossy ball bounces along a level that is built from the song itself: it lands on every beat, and every landing plays the next note of the melody. Walls and bars sit on the drum hits. Tap as the ball lands in front of a wall and it bounces high over it; hold to roll under a bar and let go at its end. Play it well and you play the tune, with lead, bass, pads and drums all synthesised as the music runs.
Twenty-four quick levels are spread over four worlds, Candy, Neon, Forest and Space, each faster and busier than the last, from 88 to 141 beats per minute. Every level has a par score, keeps your best and hands out three stars: one for finishing, one for beating par and one for hitting every note. A missed tap bumps the ball back with a soft boing and costs your combo, never the run, so every song plays to its end. Groove Line is the endless mode: the tempo keeps rising and the worlds roll past until your groove runs out, and your high score is saved on this device.
The next three beats are marked on the ground and the whole level pulses with the rhythm, so you can play with the sound off. If your taps feel early or late, the tap-along calibration screen measures the delay and remembers it. Tap anywhere or press Space, hold to roll, P pauses and M mutes.
Beat Bounce only uses one button, so everything comes down to when you press and how long you hold. Tap as the ball lands in front of a wall to bounce over it, and for a bar, hold until you reach its end, then let go. Letting go too early or holding too long are the usual slips. The next three beats are marked on the ground, so watch those markers rather than the ball itself and you will see each wall or bar coming. If your taps feel late, use the calibration on the title screen to measure the delay.
Play the worlds in order, starting with Candy, because each one is faster and busier than the last. For each level, finish it first, then beat the par, then go back and hit every note for the third star. A missed tap only bumps the ball back and costs your combo, so stay calm and find the rhythm again. Groove Line is the place to test yourself once the levels feel easy, as its tempo keeps rising.
Yes. Beat Bounce is free to play in your browser on Kiloo, with nothing to download and no account to create. The music is synthesised as you play, and your Groove Line high score is saved on this device.
Yes. On a phone or tablet you tap anywhere on the screen and hold to roll under bars. On a computer you tap with Space and hold Space to roll. P pauses and M mutes, and you can play with the sound off.
Every level hands out three stars: one for finishing it, one for beating its par score and one for hitting every note. Since a missed tap costs your combo but never the run, you can always finish first and then replay for the rest.
Yes. The next three beats are marked on the ground and the whole level pulses with the rhythm, so you can follow the timing without the music. Press M to mute the sound at any time.
Tap, strum and drum in time with the beat.

Catch the falling notes, sing the song

Hold the chord, strum on the beat

Tap the falling piano keys in time

Tap the lanes, ride the beat

Watch the band, then play the beat back

Hear a loop, rebuild it, make your own

Jump and slide on the beat

Hit the arrows, own the floor

Play back the bird's tune on a rainbow xylophone

Hop the road, dodge the train, ride the log

One tap. Golden every time.

Low gravity, long jumps

Time the bounce, land the trick

Hop the street, ring the bells, fill the pail

Hold to fly, swoop through the cave

Swing on silk across a cobwebbed attic

Run, jump, slide, don't stop

One tap. Don't hit anything.
