Decorate your dream room

Pick a page shape, drop a scene behind each panel and fill it with characters, props, bubbles and big painted sound effects. Everything moves, turns and resizes under your finger, and the finished page saves out as a picture you can keep.
Did you like Story Builder?
Story Builder is a comic maker that works like a real drawing board. A blank page lies in front of you with thick black panel borders and halftone shading already built in, and a tray of stickers waits along the edge. Choose one of six page shapes, from a single wide panel to a three-panel newspaper strip to a tall phone column, then give every panel one of twelve hand-drawn scenes: a city street, a park, a classroom, a beach, deep space, a castle, a kitchen, a forest, a stadium, a bedroom, a rooftop at night or a desert.
The cast is ten original characters, including a boxy robot called Bolt and a stripy cat called Miso. Each one has six poses and six expressions that combine freely, so the same character can point while surprised, sit while thinking or run while laughing, and you can swap the colour of their outfit in a tap. Thirty props go with them, from a football and a bike to a treasure chest, a rocket and a very pleased dog. Speech, thought and shout bubbles take whatever you type, wrap it and size it for you, and their tails are a yellow dot you drag to whoever is talking. Twelve sound-effect words in punchy comic lettering, plus motion lines and a starburst, finish the job.
Everything on the page can be dragged, pinched to resize, turned with a handle, flipped, sent behind or in front and thrown away, and thirty steps of undo sit behind it all. Copy a panel when the next beat is nearly the same shot. Name the page, save up to fifteen stories in your browser and open them again later, or switch to read mode and let the page fill the screen, one panel at a time with a tap. When the strip is finished, export it as a PNG and it lands in your downloads, ready to send to whoever the joke is about.
Plan the joke before you place anything. Pick a page shape that suits the story: a single wide panel for one gag, the three-panel strip for a set-up, a pause and a punchline, or the tall column for reading on a phone. Give each panel its scene, then add the characters. Poses and expressions combine freely, so the same character can change mood from panel to panel, which does a lot of the storytelling for you.
Keep the words short. Bubbles wrap and size your text automatically, but fewer words leave more room for the picture. Drag the yellow dot on each tail to whoever is talking, and send pieces behind or in front so nothing important is covered. Sound-effect words and motion lines add action without any dialogue at all. When the next panel is nearly the same shot, copy the panel and change just one thing; it saves time and makes the change stand out. Use read mode to check the timing one panel at a time before you export.
Yes. Story Builder is free to play in your browser on Kiloo, with nothing to download and no account to create. You can save up to fifteen stories in your browser and export any finished page as a PNG picture.
Yes. On a phone or tablet you tap a panel, then tap a character, prop, bubble or sound, drag to move it and pinch to resize. One of the six page shapes is a tall phone column. On a computer, 1 to 6 switches trays.

Name the page and save it in your browser, where up to fifteen stories are kept to open again later. To keep a copy outside the game, export the page as a PNG and it lands in your downloads.

Decorate your dream room

Pour, mix, burn and watch it flow

Plan a garden, watch the year turn

Every stroke becomes a mandala

Draw, paint and stamp anything

Tap to colour, page after page

Mix, match and hit the runway

Tap in a beat, build a track
Draw sprites, animate them, export them

Mix, match and paint with an octopus

Match three, chain the cascades

Tap the rock, hire the crew, go deeper

Grow a station, light a star

Tap, raid and grow your pile of gold

Grow a colony one crumb at a time

Tap in time, build to the sky

Aim, fire, pop the tub clean

Pet, pour, purr, profit

Crank the line, box the bots
