Creative games are tools and toys more than contests. Instead of a level to beat or a score to chase, you get a blank page, a grid, a room or a jar and the freedom to fill it however you like. You draw, colour, build, arrange or compose, and the result is something that is yours. There is no wrong answer, which makes them a calm place to play for a few minutes or a whole afternoon.
The creative games on Kiloo are built so that what you make lasts. Your work is saved in the browser you play in, so a drawing, a room or a song is waiting when you come back, and most of them let you take a picture of the finished piece as a PNG file to keep. Undo in most of them means a mistake is never a problem, and several tools turn a wobbly line into something neat, such as the mirror in Doodle Pad or the scale in Beat Maker that keeps every note in tune.
If you like to draw, start with Doodle Pad. It has eight brushes that each behave differently, from a grainy pencil to a wet brush that blends, plus a paint bucket, seventy-one stickers and a mirror that turns one stroke into eight. Colour Book is the gentler option: pick one of thirty-one line-art pages, pick a pot and tap a shape, and the colour stops exactly at the line. Kaleido Draw copies every stroke around the middle of a round plate up to forty-eight times, so even a scribble comes out as a pattern.
For building and arranging, Room Designer lets you paper the walls, lay a floor and drag over a hundred pieces of furniture into an isometric room where a cat, a dog or a rabbit wanders in. Garden Designer works the same way outdoors with lawns, paths, a pond and fifty-one pieces to plant, and when you press play the garden walks through the year. Dress Up Studio gives you four characters and a hundred hand-drawn wardrobe pieces to recolour, then sends the look down a runway.
If you want something more detailed, Pixel Painter is a proper pixel-art tool with mirror mode, ten palettes and up to twelve frames of animation. Story Builder makes a comic page from scenes, characters, props and speech bubbles. Beat Maker is a sixteen-step drum machine with bass and melody strips and eight kits, and Sand Art is a falling-sand toy where water finds its level, oil floats and lava turns to stone when it meets the sea.
Every creative game here works on desktop, tablet and phone. With a mouse you click to place and drag to paint a stroke or move a piece; on a touch screen you tap and drag with a finger, and in Room Designer and Garden Designer you pinch with two fingers to zoom. Most tools also have keyboard shortcuts: Z undoes, number keys pick a colour or a brush, and the square bracket keys change the brush size in Doodle Pad, Sand Art and Kaleido Draw. M mutes the sound, apart from Pixel Painter, where it is U.
To keep a piece, save it in the game and it stays in that browser on that device. If you want it somewhere else, use the export: a PNG picture from the drawing, design and comic tools, a sprite sheet from Pixel Painter, or a WAV file of your song from Beat Maker.
Yes. Every creative game and tool on Kiloo is free to use in your browser. There is nothing to download or install and no account needed. Your drawings, rooms, comics and songs are saved in the browser you play in, and you can export most of them as a picture to keep.
Yes, all ten work on phones and tablets as well as on computers. You draw, colour and move pieces with a finger, and Kaleido Draw even draws a fatter line when you press harder with a stylus. A tablet gives you the most room for drawing and designing.
Colour Book is the easiest, because every tap fills one shape and the colour never goes over the line. Doodle Pad suits you if you want to draw freely, and Kaleido Draw is a good choice when you just want to make something pretty without planning it.
Each tool saves your work in the browser you use, so it is there next time on the same device. To keep a copy elsewhere, use the export button: most tools save a PNG picture, Pixel Painter can also export a sprite sheet, and Beat Maker exports your song as a WAV file.
No. These are tools and toys, so there is no level to beat and no timer. Garden Designer has nothing to win and no clock running, Sand Art has nothing to win or lose, and Kaleido Draw has nothing to finish. Most of them also have undo if you change your mind.
