Climb a cosy tower one floor at a time: quick turn-based fights against cute foes whose plans are shown above their heads, then pick one of three upgrades and take the stairs up.
Did you like Tower Ascent?
Tower Ascent is a quick roguelite climb up a tall, cosy tower. Pick a hero, step out of the lift and fight your way up one floor at a time. Every floor is a short turn-based battle against one to three cute foes: stair-slugs with shells shaped like steps, wind-up knights, cloud puffs and lantern moths. When the last one poofs, you choose one of three upgrades and take the stairs to the next floor, so no two climbs play the same.
Each fight is a small brain teaser. A strip at the top shows who acts next, and a faster hero gets more turns. Every foe shows its plan above its head with a number, so you can see the big bonk coming and Guard to halve it, spend energy on a skill, drink a berry juice or simply hit the weakest foe. Upgrades add stats, new skills such as Big Swing or Pillow Pop, and perks like Combo Gloves or a Spare Balloon that floats you back up once. A boss waits on every tenth floor, a rest stop on every fifth lets you nap or take rerolls, and the weather outside the windows changes as you climb, from garden sunshine through mist and snow to the stars.
Floor fifty is the summit, but the tower keeps going in an endless climb for anyone chasing a better best floor and a high score. If your hero faints, the cheerful lift attendant brings them back down to the lobby, ready for the next try, and reaching new heights unlocks the Tinkerer, the Sprite and five start perks. There is a daily climb that is the same tower for everyone that day, the climb saves after every move so you can stop and carry on later, and it plays with mouse, keyboard or touch.
Every foe in Tower Ascent shows its plan above its head with a number, and the strip at the top shows who acts next. Read both before choosing a command. When a big bonk is coming, Guard to halve it; when nothing heavy is on the way, hit the weakest foe so fewer of them are left to act. Keep a berry juice for when you need it and spend energy on skills where they make the biggest difference.
The upgrade you pick after each floor shapes the whole climb. Speed is worth having because a faster hero gets more turns, and a perk like the Spare Balloon, which floats you back up once, can rescue a climb. Plan around the rest stop on every fifth floor, where you can nap or take rerolls, and the boss on every tenth. If your hero faints, the lift attendant brings them back to the lobby, and reaching new heights unlocks the Tinkerer, the Sprite and five start perks, so a new best floor is always worth pushing for. The climb saves after every move, so there is no need to rush a tricky fight.

Floor fifty is the summit, with a boss on every tenth floor and a rest stop on every fifth. The tower keeps going after that in an endless climb for anyone chasing a better best floor and a high score.
The daily climb is a tower that is the same for everyone that day. Ordinary climbs change from one try to the next, so no two play the same, while the daily climb gives everyone the same tower to try on that day.
