Grid Knight
Turn-based bonks on a tile grid
Turn-based dungeons, dice battles, deck-building runs, creature taming and caravan journeys with choices that matter. Every RPG here is a short run or a saved campaign that lives in your browser: no download, no account, no real money, and nothing scarier than a grumpy slime.

Turn-based bonks on a tile grid

Roll, place and plan your way down

A cosy deck-building roguelike

Craft the kit, watch the bonks

Climb, fight, pick an upgrade, repeat

Mix three runes, find all 36 spells

Befriend, train and evolve cute monsters

Lead a caravan to the mountain fair

Train all week, win the tournament
In a role-playing game you look after a hero or a small team, take them into battle and make them stronger as you go. The fun is in the choices: which gear to wear, which skill to use, which upgrade to pick and which road to take. A roguelike adds a twist: every run is a fresh dungeon or climb, so you keep learning and every attempt plays a little differently.
The RPGs on Kiloo are built to be read, not guessed. Battles are turn-based, enemies show their next move above their heads, and the damage, the heal or the odds are printed before you choose, so each turn is a small brain teaser rather than a test of reflexes. The foes are cute: slimes, mushrooms, clockwork crabs, moth knights and a tea-drinking dragon, and when they lose they poof or take a nap. Many of the games save as you play, even in the middle of a battle.
For a classic adventure, Slime Saga sends a knight, a mage and a bard across a storybook map of five chapters, with towns, side chests and a boss at the end of each. Monster Tamer lets you befriend thirty original monsters with treats, train a team of six, watch them evolve and win eight club badges. Caravan Trail is a journey with choices: pick the road, the river or the forest, set the pace and turn over the day's picture card, with the odds shown on every option.
If you like quick runs, Grid Knight is a turn-based dungeon on a tile grid, where you bump monsters to bonk them and pick gear with plain numbers. Dice Dungeon has you roll five dice a turn and drag them into sword, shield and potion slots. Deck Delve is a deck-building run in which you draw five cards, spend three energy and grow your deck after every fight. Tower Ascent is a climb of fifty floors with one of three upgrades after each.
For something different, Spell Scroll lets you mix eight runes into 36 spells and duel rival students. Loot Hunter is about crafting the right kit and then watching the expedition play out on its own. Arena Legend has you plan a week of training before turn-based tournament bouts.
Every RPG here can be played with just a mouse or a finger. You click or tap a command, then a target, and drag dice, cards, runes or gear into place in Dice Dungeon, Deck Delve, Spell Scroll and Loot Hunter. On a keyboard, the number keys pick commands, cards or runes, the arrow keys and Enter move and confirm, and Esc goes back. Grid Knight is the one where you walk: arrow keys or WASD step and bump, Space waits, or tap or swipe on a phone. P pauses and M mutes in all of them.
Because nothing depends on fast fingers, these games work well on a phone or tablet and suit players who like to think. Take your time on each turn and read what the enemy will do next. When a big hit is coming, Guard or block it; when a foe is about to act, it can be better to knock it out first. Type weaknesses matter too: in Slime Saga fire hits ice slimes for double, and in Monster Tamer each type beats the next in a ring.
Most of the games also have something to come back for, such as a daily dungeon, climb or journey, an endless mode for a high score, or heroes and starting gear that unlock as you play.
Yes. Every RPG on Kiloo is free to play in your browser. There is nothing to download or install and no account to create; press Play and the game starts. Your saved story, progress and best scores are kept in the browser you play in.
Yes, all ten RPG games work on phones and tablets as well as on computers. Since the battles are turn-based, a tap on a command and a tap on a target is all you need. In Dice Dungeon, Deck Delve and Loot Hunter you can also drag dice, cards and gear into place.
Slime Saga is a gentle first RPG, with a small party, a clear turn order and every number shown before you choose. If you would rather try a short run, Grid Knight is easy to pick up because every step is one turn. Monster Tamer suits you if you like collecting and training creatures.
No. Every game in this category is turn-based or plays out on its own, so you can stop and think as long as you like. Enemies show what they will do next, and the numbers are shown before you choose. Loot Hunter even lets you sit back and watch the battle log at your own speed.
Yes, in the browser you play in. Grid Knight saves after every turn, Deck Delve after every card, and Slime Saga, Spell Scroll and Monster Tamer even save in the middle of a battle. If you clear your browser data or switch to another device, you start again.
