Find the rhythm, clear the barriers

Hold to settle the wobble, watch the timing bar and release. Real board, real scoring: singles, doubles, trebles and both bulls. Play 501 against three levels of opponent, cricket, around the clock, or thirty darts for a high score.
Did you like Bullseye Darts?
Bullseye Darts hangs a proper tournament board on the wall of a quiet pub: oiled panelling, a brass lamp throwing a hard circle of light, a shelf of half-finished pints and a chalk scoreboard beside the board where every visit gets written up. The board itself is measured the way a real one is — a thirty-four centimetre scoring bed, an eight millimetre treble ring, a twenty-five and a fifty in the middle — so a dart that lands a hair inside the wire scores what it would in a league match.
Throwing is one gesture. Press and hold and the aiming ring stops wandering and settles on the bed you want; a timing bar runs while you hold, and letting go inside the green band sends the dart where the ring is pointing. Let go early or late and the dart lands high or low, usually in the single twenty instead of the treble. Hold too long and your arm starts to shake, so the good dart is the one you take while you are still steady. Darts thud into the sisal and stand there for the rest of the visit, and every so often one catches a wire and drops out for nothing, to a groan from the corner.
Four games on the one board. 501 with a doubles-out switch, against a Pub, League or Pro arm, with the chalkboard suggesting the way out from a hundred and seventy down — T20 T19 D12 and so on — or with two players passing the darts across one screen. Cricket closes twenty down to fifteen and the bull, three marks each, points on anything your opponent has left open. Around the Clock walks you from one to twenty and then the bull, where a double jumps you two ahead and a treble three. High Score is thirty darts and nothing else: score as heavily as you can and see the number stick. Best scores, your best checkout and your wins are kept in the browser. It fits a phone held upright and a wide screen alike, works on touch, mouse and keyboard, P pauses and M mutes.
Every throw is a balance between holding and letting go. Hold just long enough for the aiming ring to settle on the bed you want, then release inside the green band on the timing bar. Let go early or late and the dart drifts high or low, and hold too long and your arm starts to shake, so do not wait for a perfect moment that never comes.
In 501, treble twenty is the big target, but a mistimed dart there usually lands in the single twenty, so it is not a disaster. When you get down to a finish, follow the checkout route chalked on the board, and remember that with doubles out switched on you must finish on a double. In Cricket, close the numbers your opponent is scoring on before you chase points of your own. Around the Clock rewards doubles and trebles by jumping you ahead. Try High Score first to get used to the timing, then play 501 against the Pub arm before moving up to League and Pro.

Yes. It fits a phone held upright. Press and hold anywhere to steady the aim, drag to adjust it and lift your finger to throw. On a computer you hold Space or the mouse, nudge the aim with the arrow keys and let go to throw.
Yes. In 501 two players can pass the darts across one screen and take turns at the board. On your own, you play 501 against a Pub, League or Pro opponent, or try Cricket, Around the Clock and High Score.
High Score gives you thirty darts and nothing else to think about. Score as heavily as you can with them, and your best total is kept in your browser so you have a number to beat next time.

Find the rhythm, clear the barriers

Pot your group, sink the 8, or race the clock

Nine holes, windmills and water

Solo or two players on one screen

Sixty seconds, one hot hand

Bend it over the wall

Hook it into the pocket

Time the swing, clear the wall

Tuck, launch, lean, telemark

Draw, breathe, release

Zero gravity, full throttle

Drop, match, grow the melon

Flip, ramp, orbit, multiball

Hop the road, dodge the train, ride the log

Step right up and pop a cork

Pack it, throw it, duck!

Hook it, tow it, back it in

Pull back, let fly, bonk the robots

Pull the arm, clear the shelf

Flick it, mind the fan, nothing but bin
